The following hopefully answers most of your questions if you are considering initiating a workshop or residency.

What ages are catered for?

Broad based skills and experience with all ages. Primary, secondary, tertiary, degree and post graduate. The artist is committed to innovative participatory arts practice.

How does arts provision  relate to schools e.g. Key Stages etc, after school activities etc?

The artist has a PGCE in art education (secondary) and MA qualification in Fine Art Printmaking - arts provision is geared to the particular residency/workshop.

How does arts provision relate to informal education groups?

Experienced workshop leader. The artist has worked in many settings, and is particularly keen to facilitate contemporary visual arts with environmental themes, whilst promoting the use of natural and recycled materials.  Committed to forging strong links with countryside agencies, wildlife trusts, national parks, reserves and rural communities.

Is the artist police checked?

The artist has Full Enhanced Disclosure (date of issue December 2005).

Is the artist insured?

The artist has Public Liability Insurance (date of issue May 2005).

What is the typical cost of activities?

Daily rate £200 plus materials and travel.

What is the timescale needed for booking activities?

Freelance work schedule - therefore workshops and residencies are all booked and planned in advance.  Typically a minimum of one month required.

What facilities and equipment need to be provided by the school or group?

Dependent on project - usually only tables, chairs, and water source.  The artist can source other required equipment.
