What’s New
Forthcoming projects that Linn has been invited to lead are:
- PAWS (Participatory Arts Workshop Scheme) in Wiltshire - March 06 to September 06
PAWS is a scheme run by the four district councils in Wiltshire which provide your group, at your location, with a project run by a professional arts worker for only £25 plus any additional material costs. The remaining fee is subsidised by your district council. Groups do not need any arts experience to take part in this scheme. Linn’s theme this year is ‘wire world’ - to find out more about working with Linn via this scheme please contact Linn.
- Hampshire Creative Partnerships - April to June 06
Linn has been asked to undertake an outside project at the Andover Community Centre to produce a mural with the community who use the centre.
- Paper-making weekend - Salisbury Arts Centre April 06
Come along and join Linn over the weekend learning paper making techniques and creating your own paper sculpture.
- Mentoring Scheme - March to September 06
Linn is mentoring a Participatory Arts Graduate who will be shadowing Linn on a number of her projects, as well as learning about the business side of her activities, including grant application, professional development and working as an artist in their own right. This has been initiated and brokered by University College for the Creative Arts (Farnham) Campus.
- Hale Primary School - May 06
Linn worked with years 3 and 4 during their school book week for a day to make hand made books, hand stitched and covered in fabric donated by Georgina Von Esttorf. In May as a well done to pupils for working so hard for their SATS Linn will be returning to work with years 5 and 6.
- New Milton Primary School - June 06
New Milton Primary school have asked Linn to work with reception and Year 2 during their school arts week. Work inspired by themes of transport and dinosaurs, utilising collage methods will be exhibited at the Forest Arts Centre.
- Salisbury District Council Environmental Day - June 06
For a third year Linn has been asked to run workshops with three Salisbury Primary Schools using willow and recycled materials.
- Larmer Tree Festival - 14th to 16th July 06
Linn will be leading a chidrens weekend workshop at this years Larmer Tree festival where the theme is the cuddle bugs.
- Trafalgar School Downton - Arts Festival 17th - 21st July 06
Linn will be running a series of workshops with years 7, 8, 9 and 10 and 300 primary school children who will visit the school during the week.
